Funeral Services Set for Hip Hop Legend Johnny “J” - Fans May Attend
Funeral services have been set for legendary hip hop and R&B music producer Johnny “J” aka Johnny Jackson for this Saturday October 11th in Los Angeles, California.
The hip hop notable died October 3rd in the LA County jail from what early reports are calling a suicide. (LAPD is investigating his death).
Johnny “J” was a hip hop producer who is perhaps best known for his production on Tupac Shakur's (2Pac) albums All Eyez on Me and Me Against the World. He was born in Juárez, Mexico, in 1969 and raised in South Central Los Angeles by his adopted parents. His father Is African American and his mother is Mexican-American.
Johnny "J" ran Klock Work Entertainment and had worked with many hip hop, rap and R&B artists over his career.
The passing of Johnny “J” is a shock to the hip hop community and to those who knew and loved him - RIP our dear friend.

Saturday October 11th 2008 at 10 A.M.
