W.E. A.L.L. B.E. News & Radio recently interviewed baseball great Mr. Joe B. Scott, one of the last living baseball players to have played his entire career in the Negro Leagues…Mr. Joe B. Scott was discovered by baseball legend Satchel Paige and was the first African American to play Wrigley Field, the home of Major League Baseball's Chicago Cubs as a star first baseman and only Black player for Tilden Tech High School in the 1930s...We catch up with Joe after he recently celebrated his 90th Birthday and dealing with the tragic losses of both his wife and daughter in a span of just over a year...Although he is dealing with serious health issues of his own, Bro. Joe was very elated to share his life's lessons and we were eager to receive more insight and wisdom from this very generous elder statesman for the game as well as for humanity...
