As we all know April 4,2008 marked the 40th Anniversary of the transition of Dr. Martin Luther King from Man Into Martyred Legend...Although the man was slain his dream lives on...You Can Kill The Dreamer But You Can't Kill The Dream...However, 'The Dream' as we know it is on life support...Although impressive individual gains have been made (for example, Barack Obama the first U.S. Presidential nominee of a major U.S. Political Party), TheBlack Community as a whole has been suffering...The gap betwen Rich and Poor has drastically increased since 1968...The depressingly high high school dropout rate in the Black Community, the steroid or tumor like growth of the Prison Industry Complex coupled with high infant mortality rates, the near extinction of Black owned businesses, missing Black fathers and crime ridden neighborhoods has forced us to ponder both philosophically and literally those immortal words of MLK: Where Do We Go From Here???

W.E. A.L.L. B.E. News & Radio attempts to at least frame the conversation by dedicating the month of April 2008 To The State Of Black America 2008...Please remember that the conversation doesn't start or stop here...Let's keep it up and may it lead to a concrete plan(s) and impactful positive direct action(s) because we are sincerely living in the fierce urgency of now!!!
