***Breaking News: Frederick Jermaine Carter Hanging Update***

"Law and order exist for the purpose of establishing justice and when they fail in this purpose they become the dangerously structured dams that block the flow of social progress."

W.E. A.L.L. B.E. News has spoken with Brenda Carter-Evans the mother of Frederick Jermaine Carter concerning her son’s second autopsy. As you all may recall Frederick Jermaine Carter was discovered hanging from a tree on Dec. 3, 2010. His body was discovered in Northern Greenwood, Ms in an exclusive White upper middle class neighborhood…Historically the neighborhood was known to be hostile to African Americans… The death scene was not so far from where the trial and lynching of Emmett Till took place, the Chicago teen killed for allegedly disrespecting a White woman in the 1950s…The coroner and county sheriff without any hesitation ruled it a suicide on the scene…However, the African Americans in the community, all too familiar with the bloody history and vigilante justice of Mississippi, raised too many concerns and questions, more than they received answers to…Even the NAACP raised questions about the quick ruling …The funeral was very well attended and included participation from members of  The Nation of Islam…The Honorable Abdullah Yasin Muhammad, one of the sons of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, delivered the eulogy…

This morning Mrs. Carter-Evans told W.E. A.L.L. B.E. News in an exclusive update that the 2nd autopsy was finished.  She explained that the reason why the 2nd autopsy results have not been released is because the 1st autopsy results were not officially released yet! By law they could not officially release the 2nd autopsy results without the first one being released.  Wow. By the way the second autopsy was done out of state by a certified professional.  People don’t realize that in the state of Mississippi coroners are merely elected to office. Many coroners throughout the country get their position that way. That means in order to be a coroner you don’t have to have a medical or forensics background, you just got to have enough folks to like you to get elected…In the state of South Carolina for example the only qualification needed to be a coroner is a high school diploma…This is a far cry from what you see on the CSI brand series or Bone series on TV where people are spellbound by the antics of High Tech Forensics Superstar Demi-Gods.  I would suggest that people check out THE PBS Frontline Special “Post Mortem: Death Investigation In America” for more on this provocative and disturbing issue:
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/post-mortem/second-chances/

There is a reason why this case is important because it is just the latest in the long line of questionable hanging suicides in the state of Mississippi…There was an Asian American woman discovered hanging from a tree in Philadelphia, Ms, on September 18, 2010 which was ruled a suicide…Philadelphia is the same place where three Civil Rights workers, James Chaney, Andrew Goodman & Michael Schwerner, were murdered and buried in an earthen dam during the bloody and violent Freedom Summer campaign of 1964.
So the questions remain:
What is LeFlore County and the state of Mississippi hiding?
If the death was truly a suicide why has it taken so long for them to release the first official autopsy results?
What Can We Do To Help?

Like Bro. Frederick Douglass said “power concedes nothing without a demand” and so please let Gov. Haley Barbour know you want the first autopsy results officially released so that the truth can finally come out:
